Frogs, Families and Friends,
Congratulations to all on yesterday's incredible win over Covered Bridge! It was truly a total team effort from the coaches, who created a great meet lineup, to our Frogs, who all had incredible swims.
However, once again, it is with great sadness that I have to share another loss to our Frog family. Former team parent Connie Dougherty passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Connie was the mother of former Frogs Bryan and Dani Dougherty. Dani also served as a Frog Assistant Coach. Connie was an active team parent who always volunteered to be a timer, sell 50-50s or sell team ads. Connie had an incredibly outgoing spirit and personality. She was the kind of person who upon meeting her, made you feel like you knew her your whole life. Connie will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

There is NO team caravan (too difficult with parents working, etc.).

A Meet vs. Woodcrest White Sharks - AWAY
Saturday July 14 @ 9am
We will meet at The Dump parking at 7:15 am and depart by 7:30am. If you are not traveling with the team, please be at Woodcrest by 8:00am. We will enter the club as a team led by the coaches. So, if you get there early, please wait for the rest of the team and coaches to arrive. Directions to Woodcrest are attached.

Peach Bowl - aka Gloucester County Swim Championships

Swimmer Entrance Opens 2:15pm
Spectator Doors Open 2:30pm
Spectator Cost: $10 for adults (includes program) and $5 for kids
This is a CASH ONLY event - there is NO ATM on site
Swimmers in the Peach Bowl are selected by the coaches. Swimmers are permitted to swim one individual event (vs. two in our dual meets) and two relays. The meet lineup is due to the meet organizers on Sunday July 15 so coaches will be starting to talk to swimmers about the meet this week.
For those new Frogs and parents - this is probably the most exciting and crazy meet of the year. This meet pits many swimmers who know each other against one another for bragging rights as the county champ. It's an indoor meet so it's very loud and VERY, VERY, HOT. Please dress appropriately. You are advised to leave younger siblings (who are not swimming) at home with a baby sitter. Also, if you want to get a good seat you need to line up early. Doors open for spectators at 230pm but people will starting lining up at around 12noon or earlier (I'm not kidding).
ALL FROGS AND FAMILIES (you don't have to be in the Peach Bowl) are invited to celebrate back at the club at approximately 830pm for a pizza party.
