Frogs, Families & Friends,
It may be hard to believe, but we are about half way through the regular season.
I hope everyone enjoys their July 4th holiday and a couple of days off of swim.
We will come back with a busy day on Wed. with practice, team pictures and a meet vs. the Georgetown Dolphins. Interesting Fact: Georgetown is located in Bridgeton, NJ and is the only TriCounty team located in Cumberland County. So, while the league is called TRI-County and most teams are in the three counties of Gloucester, Camden and Burlington, the league actually spans five counties. Chestnut Run Swim Club, located in Woodstown and Salem County, joins Georgetown as the two teams outside of the three county area. Think about how far these teams have to drive to some of their meets.

Our first home B-meet! All swimmers must report to the club by 4:45pm.
Team volunteer list is attached. We are short on timers so please help if you can - older Frogs/swimmers can time too!
We also need volunteers to help set up starting at 4:00pm. Please help if you can - all you need to do is show up.

NOTE: It's often harder to find volunteers for Wed. night meets because parents work, etc. I listed those who have volunteered in the past as well as those who filled out the volunteer form at signups. If you can't volunteer I understand, just let me know. I may have to pull a few people out of the stands to help out. Please don't be offended if I ask for your help.

Form is attached. New Parents - the Peach Bowl is the Gloucester County Swim Championships. Swimmers are chosen by the coaches to participate which is done after our 4th meet. So, while the ad is due on July 7, you will not know if your child will be swimming until after that date.

- Saturday July 8 - 9:00am - Meet vs Haddon Glen Seahorses - HOME - SENIOR MEET!
This is final home meet of the season and our last home for our team's seniors.
All swimmers must report to GP by 7:30am. Please see the attached volunteer list. Thank you volunteers!
Our pep rally this week is on Saturday, but we will still be setting up for the meet on Friday night. If you can help, please report to the club at 8:30pm.
To All Graduating SENIORS & Parents: All seniors were given a hard copy of graduating senior speech form at yesterday's meet. An electronic copy is attached. Please give a completed hard copy of the form to Coach Jen by Friday July 7. If you have someone special who you want to read your speech, please make arrangements with that person and have them report to the scorers' table by approx. 11am at Saturday's meet. (You may want to give them a copy of your speech so they can practice.)

- Sat.- Sun. August 5-6 - Tri-County Swim Championships
The meet is hosted by Wenonah this year. To help with security, Wenonah is looking for volunteer members of law enforcement with arrest authority in the State of NJ. If you or someone you know are interested in being security staff supplements, please let me know (and provide an email and phone number) and I will provide your name to Wenonah. Volunteers will be contacted to attend a special meeting for training, and will receive a special wristband to give them access to all areas of the club and they will enter for free.
