Frogs and Parents,
I am extremely proud of our performance on Saturday and here I am again to say that the meet this Saturday vs Tavistock Hills is going to be another extremely close meet.
With that being said, please understand that I make my lineup accordingly. I place swimmers in events that I believe they will excel as well as help our TEAM bring home a win. Missing people each week has been a common trend this season which has noticeably impacted the score of the meets thus far.
A MEET vs. TAVISTOCK HILLS (July 12th): If you will not be at the meet this Saturday, I must know by no later than 10pm on Wednesday evening in writing (email, text, a piece of paper). I can not stress this enough. I generate all meet sheets and entry cards on the computer. This past week I did triple the work due to late notifications of meet absences. I understand that "things happen" such as unexpected sickness and injury (they don't make me happy either), but I am more annoyed when I do not know that you are not attending the meet until Friday. So again, I need to know if you will not be at the meet this coming Saturday by Wednesday at 10pm. (If you already told me, please remind me again).
B MEET vs. WHITMAN SQUARE (home): I will be asking swimmers tomorrow and Tuesday what they would like to swim in the B meet. If your child won't be at practice Monday or Tuesday but would like to swim in the B Meet, please let me know which events by Tuesday evening at 10pm. Also, I am not encouraging top age group swimmers to swim in the B Meet unless they would like to try a stroke that they would not swim in an A meet. The theme for this week's B Meet is 80's.
* 13-14 and 15-18 swimmers, please come and help as you did at the last B meet. You help it run much smoother.

As we approach the final two weeks (for the majority of the team) I would like them to run smoothly and be the most fun we've had this season. The coaches have some events in preparation, but this is the event of the week.
GENDER WARS (9-10 and 11-12 age group) - Gender wars will be on Tuesday, July 8th at 11 am at the pool. Meet on the blacktop! We have competitions organized boys vs. girls. Winning gender will be rewarded in writing the opposing teams practice.
