Wow - what a great season! With yesterday's victory we finished at 4-1 and in second place in C Division.
However, perhaps even better was the individual improvement of so many Frogs. Some learned to swim,
some competed in races for the first time, some qualified for Tri-County for the first time and others
swam faster than ever before. Maybe even better than that was was the number of parents who told me or
the coaches how much their kids loved swimming and being part of the team. Overall, it was just a great season.
For most of the Frogs, the season is now over. I want to thank everyone for your help and for volunteering
for the numerous activities/positions that make our team run. A special thanks to those who stepped
forward in yesterday's heat to give others a break.
We still have a few team activities with the Peach Bowl and the Tri-County Championships. Of course, the
highlight of the season is Thursday night's banquet. I hope to see everyone there.
With regard to Tri-County, there are a number of volunteer positions that GP has to fill on both Saturday and Sunday.
I will be sending out a list/roster later in the week seeking volunteers (last time - I promise).
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their summer.
