GP Swim: Pep Rally, Meet and other upcoming activities

Welcome to the first week of the regular season!  

Our first meet is this Saturday morning against the Erlton Gators.  Erlton is a strong team. They beat us 318 - 238 last year, so it will be a tough meet.

- Friday June 23 6:00pm - Pizza Party Pep Rally

The first pep rally/dinner of the year is always pizza - don't miss this decades long tradition!

- Saturday June 24 9:00am - Meet @ Erlton Gators - AWAY

Coaches will be talking to swimmers on Friday about the events they will swim.

Team caravan will meet in The Dump parking lot at 7:15 am.  If you are going to Erlton on your own please be there by 8:00am. All swimmers and coaches will gather in the parking lot and enter the swim club together - swimmers should not enter the club on their own.  Directions and team volunteer list is attached. Thank you volunteers!


- Wednesday June 28 6:00pm - Meet @ Wenonah Wave Runners - AWAY

Coaches will be talking to swimmers about the events in which they wish to participate.

All swimmers must be at Wenonah by 5:00pm.  There is NO team caravan.  All swimmers and coaches will meet in the Wenonah parking lot and enter as a team. Directions and team volunteer list will be distributed next week.

- Friday July 7 - Peach Bowl SHOUT OUT Ads are Due

Form is attached.  Info on T-shirts will be coming soon.  New Parents - the Peach Bowl is the Gloucester County Swim Championships.  Swimmers are chosen by the coaches to participate which is done after our 4th meet.  So, while the ad is due on July 7, you will not if your child will be swimming until after that date.  


- Sat.- Sun. August 5-6 - Tri-County Swim Championships 

The meet is hosted by Wenonah this year.  To help with security, Wenonah is looking for volunteer members of law enforcement with arrest authority in the State of NJ.  If you or someone you know are interested in being security staff supplements, please let me know (and provide an email and phone number) and I will provide your name to Wenonah. Volunteers will be contacted to attend a special meeting for training, and will receive a special wristband to give them access to all areas of the club and they will enter for free.
