Frogs, Families and Friends,
Congratulations to all Frogs and coaches for a fantastic final meet and a great regular season. While yesterday's victory was very exciting, we were all sad to hear that Coaches Elise and Julia will not be back next year. The last three years have been a lot of fun and we have been very successful in the pool. On behalf of our entire Frog family, thank you and best of luck to Elise and Julia. We will miss you greatly!
We have already gotten lots of questions about the process forward. Rest assured that our great Frog tradition of fun and great swimming will continue. Our immediate goal is to focus on the rest of the season with Peach Bowl and TriCounty days away. However, later this summer and early this fall, we will begin a process to select a new head coach. We will be communicating more about this process as it evolves.
Here's what's ahead for this week and the rest of the season:
Practice/Timeline for Mon. and Tues.
Monday, July 25th: Peachbowl Swimmers / Tri-County Qualifiers
7:30 AM - 8:45 AM: 11-12, 13-14, 15-18 Age Groups
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: 9-10 and 8u Age Groups
Coach Elise will be going over Peachbowl information and giving out bag tags at Monday's practice.
Tuesday, July 26th:
Time for wakeup swim will be announced on Monday after practice.
After wake up swim (whatever time it is) - Go home, rest and eat.
1:30 PM - 2:15 PM: Warm up at GP (required for 13-14, 15-18, optional for others)
2:45 PM: All swimmers need to be on deck at GCIT, ready to do meet warm up.
4:15 PM: Meet Start Time
Peach Bowl: Tues. July 26 @ 4:15pm: Peach Bowl at GCIT
Spectator entrance opens at 2:45pm.
Line up outside gym doors (NOT inside like years past) - bring umbrella, chairs, etc.if you line up early - it will be hot and there's no shade or seats.
Cost - Adults $10, kids $5. Cash only event - there is no ATM at GCIT.
Other advice: this is a long, very hot meet (worse than any outdoor meet) - dress accordingly. Free advice for those with younger kids - try to get a babysitter for them - see reference to long and hot meet above.

Coach Elise will be submitting our TriCo entries tomorrow by 12noon. There is a league seeding meeting on Wed. night and pysch sheets should be available some time after that meeting. More info will be provided next week on reporting times, warmups, etc.
Volunteers Needed: We need parents for the positions listed below. Volunteers should come from the parents whose kids have qualified for the championship meet. You will NOT miss your child or others you want to see swim by volunteering.
Sat. Morning Session (ages 8&U, 9-10 and 11-12 boys only):
Team Parents (stay in team area and make sure our Frogs get to their events)
One position filled (Thank you Leslie Vogel for volunteering!)
