Frogs, Families and Friends,
The start of the season is almost here. Time trials will be held this Saturday at 8:00am.
All swimmers from all age groups must report at 7:15am for warmups.
Tadpoles will not be participating in the time trials. If you have any question about whether your child is swimming or not, please contact Coach Elise.
For the trials, all swimmers will be timed in freestyle. The older and experienced swimmers will have a choice in the other events they swim. For others, the coaches may instruct swimmers to swim in certain events. Coach Elise will talking to the swimmers about the trials throughout the week.
At the bottom of this email and attached, please find the lineup of trial volunteers, including timers. THANK YOU TO ALL VOLUNTEERS!
I compiled the list of volunteers from those who worked last year and those who expressed an interest in their 2016 sign-up forms.
If you can't make it this Saturday that's fine. All volunteers and timers should report to the pool at 7:45am for a meeting. Trials can actually be a little more hectic than a real meet and we will be giving specific instructions on what you need to do, which is different from a regular meet.
The team breakfast will immediately follow the time trails. All swimmers and their families are welcome take part in this great team event. If you are not participating in the trials, you should report to the club at about 9:30am for breakfast. PLEASE note that we eat as a team. The breakfast will not start until the trials are completed, the pool is cleared and the deck is clean. All swimmers should stay in the pool area and cheer on your teammates and help clean up after the trials. We advise that you bring a snack to the trials to hold over your young (or even older) swimmers until breakfast starts. If you have not done so already, you sign up to contribute to the breakfast at
