GP Swim: Mexican Party, Board Elections and Comedy Night!

Frogs, Families and Friends,

It's hard to believe that TriCounty was one month ago today!  Hope everyone enjoyed their post swim season summer.  Here are some upcoming team/club activities.

CELEBRATE:  To honor our historic season and our C Division Championship, we are having a Mexican-themed party this Sunday at 12noon.  Frogs can pick up their C Division Championship gift.  So, come out and have a great time.  A big thanks to the Valle family for hosting/organizing this celebration!  To sign up, please go to http://www.signupgenius.com/go/904054ea5ad2ba02-mexican.


ELECTIONS:  GP Board of Directors elections will be held this Sunday and many swim team members are running.  Like any election, if you want to have a say in how our club is run, you must vote.  Candidate speeches start at 12noon.  Voting is open for one hour after the conclusion of the speeches.


FUNDRAISER:  1st Annual Comedy Fundraiser featuring national known comedian Jay Black will be held on Sat. Oct. 3 at 7pm at the Whitman Fire Hall.
- Cost is $35/person or $60/couple due by Sept. 25.
- Any one who sells 8 tickets can get a reserved table - you can send separate checks but all 8 ticket purchases must be mailed in the same envelope.
- This is a BYOB event.
- A Chinese Auction will be held - NO one is required to donate a basket but you can volunteer to donate.  Donations will be due by Sept. 25 - stay tuned for more details.
- Volunteers are needed for running the auction and selling 50/50s - stay tuned for more details.
