Frogs, Families and Friends,
The 2015 Peach Bowl (aka Gloucester County Swimming Championships) will be held on Tuesday July 21 at 4:30pm at the Gloucester County Institute of Technology (GCIT).
For newer families, this is a very fun and exciting meet that involves all of the teams in Gloucester County, including those outside of our TriCo Swim League. Both Kandle Lake and Whitman Square from Wash. Twp. participate.
Unlike dual meets, where each swimmer can swim two individual events, in Peach Bowl each swimmer is only allowed to swim in only one individual event. All entries are selected by the coaches. Attached, please find the GP lineup for individual events. Please note that this does not include relay swimmers. Peachbowl relays will be decided after the final home meet next Saturday and sent out/posted at the club. Just because a swimmer does not see their name in an individual event does not mean they are not in a Peachbowl relay, so please stay tuned!
We will be having our traditional Peach Bowl pizza party back at GP after the meet. ALL Frogs and families, regardless of whether you're in the meet, are welcome to celebrate with the team! More details will be provided as the meet approaches.

PEACHBOWL GUIDELINES AND INFO.
1. Peach Bowl is an all day event. We will be warming up (Time TBD) at Greenwood Park prior to going to GCIT.
2. Swimmers can enter GCIT at 2:45pm.
3. Spectator entrance opens at 3:00pm. HOWEVER, if you want good seats - line up early. People start lining up as early as 1:00pm or earlier.
4. There is an admission fee of $10 that includes the program. This is a CASH ONLY event. There are NO ATMs at GCIT.
5. Complete schedule of events is attached.
6. This meet is long, loud and very hot. Younger siblings/children should NOT attend! Dress appropriately.
7. Pack drinks and snacks for your swimmers.
8. Spectators must stay in the stands - only swimmers, coaches and a few team volunteers are allowed on deck.
9. Team moms will oversee the team area and make sure your kids get to their event. We will share the phone numbers of the team moms prior to the meet for the parents of younger swimmers.
10. No swimmer is permitted to leave the pool deck before the conclusion of the meet when the score is announced and trophies are given. All Peach Bowl swimmers must stay in the team area on deck with the team! Swimmers are not permitted to go into the stands.
11. Swimmers must keep the team area clean and treat team moms with respect!
12. We expect all swimmers and parents to demonstrate POSITIVE ATTITUDES AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP!
