GP Swim: TriCo Champs & Wired 96.5 PARTY!

Frogs, Families & Friends,

Congratulations to all those who competed in last weekend's TriCounty Swimming Championships.  We had an incredible team performance finishing in sixth place out of 36 teams.   We beat every B-Division Team and one A-Division Team (and only lost to A-Div. A very special congratulations to the following Frogs who broke GP or TriCo records:

- Casey Morgan:  Girls 8&U Girls 25M Fly - GP Record 18.06 (old record 18.68 set by former Frog/Coach Erin Malone back in '03)

- Connor Shenk:  Boys 13-14 Boys 50M Back - GP Record 27.78 (old record 28.13 set by Connor just two weeks ago at Peach Bowl)

                            Boys 13-14 Boys 100M Free - GP Record 55.40 (old record 56.75 set by 2011 NCAA Champ Bill Cregar in '04)

- Colin McHugh:  Boys 15-18 Boys 100M Breast- TriCo Record 1:02.54 (old record 1:03.64 set by Colin's older brother Brendan back in '08)

If you haven't heard, we have been selected by Wired 96.5 as the St. Christopher's Swim Team of the Year!  To celebrate, the station is throwing us a party on Thursday, August 14 from 6:30-8:30pm with music, games, prizes, and an ice cream truck. 

Chunky (from the Big Philly Show), producer JP, the 96.5 promotions team, and someone from St. Chris's marketing department will be coming to our club.   We hope to have some swim races with producer JP who is a swimmer.
