Frogs, Families and Friends,
After a long, cold winter, summer is officially here. You can tell because our first swim meet is this Saturday (even though most kids aren't out of school yet) against the Wexford Leas Whales of Cherry Hill. This is a club that we have rarely faced in our club's history. In fact, between my memory (which can account for about 20 years of our teams existence) and TriCo records, the only meet against Wexford that I know of is a B meet way back in 1978 (yes, I'm full of useless information). Nonetheless, Wexford went 5-0 last year winning D Division, so it should be an interesting meet.
Coach Elise would like all swimmers to report to the swim club NO LATER THAN 7:45am on Saturday. Warmups start at 8am and the meet will begin at 9:00am.
THANK YOU to all those who have volunteered to help run this week's meet. A special thanks to the following parents who are taking on new roles this year: Mike Gadzinski (Official); Kathy McKinney (Announcer); Megan Morgan (Scorer); Lisa Masny (Card Runner); Maggie Woodward (Card Runner); Tonya Maier (Card Runner); and Christine Weiss (Bake Table). An extra special thanks to our own Frog, Alura Agnes, who will be making her debut singing the national anthem. Please see below for all meet assignments.
Finally, don't forgot that the first pep rally/team dinner (pizza party) is this Friday at 6:30pm. See you then.
Go Frogs!
