Frogs, Family and Friends,
I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend so far. It was nice catching up with many of you at the swim club on Sat. and Sun.
Well, the season is here! Below, please find some important dates and information.
- Wednesday, May 28: 1st Day of Practice! - ALL AGES MUST BRING SNEAKERS FOR POSSIBLE RUNNING
3:15 - 4:30pm: ages 13 and up
4:30 - 5:30pm: ages 9-10 and 11-12
5:30 - 6:15pm: 8 and under
NOTE: This time of year thunderstorms are always a threat to cancel practice. Practice cancellations will be posted on the website in the Frog Blog section and a text will be sent out via the Remind 101 system. To receive team texts, please text "@greenwoodp" to 856-513-8715.
- Team Wear - Place your orders NOW!
GP Frogs team wear for swimmers and parents can be purchased until June 1. Orders will be received by our first meet.

- Tuesday, June 3, 6:15pm: Mandatory Parents Meeting
Meeting is held under/around "old tent."
- June 7, 9 & 11*: Scorer and Officials Training
VERY IMPORTANT: ALL OFFICIALS (S&T and Starter/Ref) need to be re-certified this year because of the number of rule changes.
So, even if you were certified last year, you need to go again this year.
If would like to volunteer to be an official, please email me and plan to attend one of the Stroke and Turn sessions for new officials.

- July 4th Basket Auction

If you signed for a basket at team sign ups, you are already entered into the system.
In lieu of making a basket, you can "buy out" by paying $35. To buy out, please see Kim Morris or Jenn Knox at practice and provide a $35 check to the "Greenwood Park Swim Team" - DO NOT go to the sign up genius.
- Volunteers Needed!
As most of you know, swimming is a volunteer-intensive sport. This year we need help with a number of key functions. Please see the list below and contact me if you are able to help with any of the following:
Website Design & Maintenance: Do you or someone you know have an IT background who can help maintain our team website?
B-Meet Coordination: This is a very important job - we need someone who can help run the B-meets. You will be trained by our out-going coordinators and me. This is a job that is ideal for a parent or team friend who has kids in the younger (8&U or 9-10) age groups.
50-50 Sales: We need a volunteer to cell 50-50 chances at our home meets. It's a great way to meet people and make friends.
