FROG BLOG: Greenwood Park Frogs

Dear Frog Families,

My name is Greg Fondacaro, and I have been selected by the Greenwood Park Board of Directors to be the chair of the swim team for the upcoming swim season. I would like to thank our former chair, Bill Nicholson, for his years of service. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I have been a Frog parent for the past 8 years, my wife, Donna, is the swim team treasurer, and my three children, Nick ,Nate, and Sarah all swim for the frogs.

At the conclusion of the swim season, I met with the Coach Selection Committee to discuss this year’s swim season. We discussed the highlights of the season. The members of the committee also discussed various concerns that many of you raised to each of us as well as our own. After several discussions, we have decided not to renew Coach Shannon’s contract and open the Head Coach position.

Before we post the position and interview candidates our committee felt it was important to survey the parents and analyze the results to help us move in the direction that best fits where our members would like to see us go.
