Subject: Missed GP Frogs Sign-ups? - PLEASE READ

If you missed the Greenwood Park Swim Team Sign-ups, the forms are attached.  Please complete one team registration form for your family.  Please complete one Liability Release Form for EACH swimmer in your family.  Please complete the activity volunteer sheet to identify areas where you'd be willing to assist the team.  Mail the completed forms and your check (to the Greenwood Park Swim Team) to me, Mike D'Andrea at 777 Sherwood Drive, Williamstown, NJ 08094.

You can order team suits at Danzeisen & Quigley in Cherry Hill at 856-424-5969.  You can order team apparel - sweats, shirts, shorts, visors and more by going to mbmsports.com between May 5 through May 20.

Finally, the last issue that was discussed at sign-ups was that this summer Greenwood Park is hosting the 2012 Gloucester County Swimming Championships, otherwise known as the Peach Bowl.  Host duties rotate among the eight swim teams in our county every eight years and are an important obligation for our team to fulfill. Hosting the Peach Bowl is also very important to our team finances.  While we raise money every year through team dues, 50-50's and other fund raising efforts, hosting the Peach Bowl is our biggest team fund-raising activity.  In some ways, we "live" from Peach Beach to Peach Bowl with the money we make every eight years. 

               

In order to ensure the success of this championship meet and to promote healthy finances for our team, we are requesting that each Frog family support our team efforts in the following three ways:

1.  Sell at least one program ad/sponsorship for $25 or more.  

      Please see attachments for a letter you can use to solicit ads and also a price sheet.

      2.  Volunteer to help plan, coordinate, and/or work at the Peach Bowl Meet on July 24. 

            Information and volunteer sign-ups sheets will be distributed when swim practice starts.

               

     3.  Donate one case of water, sport drinks, soda or other canned/plastic beverage to be sold at the Peach Bowl concession stand. 

          Details will be provided when swim practice starts.
