Attached, please find information about the Tri-County Championships and psych sheets, which contain event seedings. Other meet information can be found at the Tri-Co Championship website at http://www.tricounty2011.org/.
One exciting development is that Carl Lewis, a nine-time Olympic Track Gold Medalist and Willingboro native, will be speaking at the finals on Sunday.
A couple of important notes:
- Team warm-up times are included in the attached info. Coach Tony will also discuss team warm-ups and reporting times at practice.
Please defer to whatever instruction Coach Tony provides at practice.
- Directions and a map to Wexford Leas are also included. You need to use these instructions or you will have trouble reaching the club and parking areas.
DO NOT use your GPS or Google Maps. There are a number of temporary road closures because of the meet that will not show up on your GPS.
VOLUNTEERS
GP has a number of team assignments given by the league to help run the meet. We also need team parents to help police our team area and to ensure our Frogs report to the event staging area on time.
Attached is a draft list of assignments based on those who have already volunteered. As you will see, we have a big need for Clerks of Course and team parents. The Clerk of Course is stationed in the staging area and helps line up swimmers for events. Please understand that you will be able to see your kids swim if you volunteer for any of these positions (I will personally take your spot if necessary). Please email me or call me at 267-474-0155 to volunteer or if you have any questions about the assignments. Please note that volunteers still have to pay the $5 admission fee. Thanks to all who have already volunteered.
